Skyline R32 Gtr: King 32 Anatomy Of Speed

Nissan Skylines have come a long way over the past couple of decades. They've made an almost seamless transition from performance street cars to incredibly fast race cars. These days a lot of them are single-purpose, dedicated racers. And samples retaining scraps of their street heritage are getting rarer by the day.

There are not many cars that can genuinely claim to be GTR Royalty. With more world records under its belt than others can only dream of, the aptly named KING32 is definitely one of them.

1969 Plymouth Roadrunner 440 Black Beauty

While the 440 was the cheaper option compared to the HEMI Road Runner, it was no slouch. With a big block 440, this Runner was rated at 390 bhp and bridged the gap between the HEMI and basic 383 in models. But the A19 package was much more than an engine swap. It also included upgrades to the intake system, drive line and body. For$462.80 it was a much more economical option than the much more expensive HEMI.

The Plymouth Roadrunner today stands as a must-have MOPAR for any collector or Muscle car enthusiast.

From Service Call to Iconic Build: The Journey of a 1967 Mustang Fastback

Jerry, who was 30 miles north of his home in Lucas, Texas, had driven out to fix a broken air conditioner in a mobile home. The property was vast, with little more than the house, a few buildings, and the mobile home on a dirt road. The car owner, wearing bib overalls and no shirt, was dealing with chickens and an old refrigerator in the front yard. Jerry helped feed the chickens and, while repairing the A/C with a simple capacitor fix, asked if the car was for sale. The owner, skeptical but intrigued, was offered $2,500 on the spot.
