VALKYRJA: Ringbrothers’ 890HP Carbon-Fibre Camaro is Pure Norse Fury on Four Wheels

When Ringbrothers say it’s their most ambitious project ever, you pay attention. And when you finally lay eyes on VALKYRJA, the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro unveiled at the 2019 SEMA Show, you understand exactly why. This is no restomod by numbers—this is what happens when digital mastery, cutting-edge materials, and raw V8 brutality collide in one hellraising tribute to American muscle.

At its core beats a 416-cube Wegner Motorsports LS3 topped with a 2.9-litre Whipple supercharger, built to rip with 890 horsepower and managed by Holley Dominator electronics. It’s not just a Camaro, it’s a carbon-fibre-cloaked berserker built entirely in CAD, sculpted by CNC and 3D printing, and wrapped in a custom shade of BASF Glasurit “TOTOPKG Green”. Every millimetre of this car was designed, simulated, tested, and then brought to life with impossible precision.

Underneath, a full Detroit Speed Engineering chassis and suspension setup keep this monster planted. A DSE hydroformed subframe up front and 4-link system in the rear carry QA1 MOD Series shocks and 355-geared Johns Industries 9-inch rear end. Flowmaster stainless headers feed into a 44 Series exhaust system for that savage bark that tells you something unnatural is coming. And it is coming fast.

A reworked six-speed Tremec from Bowler handles the shifts, sending torque through a carbon fibre driveshaft from QA1. On either end, custom HRE wheels—19x11 front, 20x12.5 rear—tuck beneath that widebody shell and wear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S rubber like battle boots. The stance is menacing, the grip ferocious.

Inside, the story continues with full custom upholstery by Upholstery Unlimited, digital gauges by Dakota, and Vintage Air Gen IV climate control. It's comfort and clarity in a cockpit ready for combat. Even the tunes get dialled in via a Kicker sound system—though you’ll likely be listening to nothing but that supercharged V8 most of the time.

The name VALKYRJA—the old Norse spelling of Valkyrie—fits like a glove. A death-dealing war maiden of myth, selected by a Belgian owner and bound for Valhalla (or Europe) post-SEMA. It’s an ode to fallen warriors, risen again in carbon fibre and billet aluminium.

Ringbrothers pulled from a deep pool of sponsors to bring this creation to life—Prestone, BASF, Flowmaster, 3M, Holley, HRE, Baer Brakes, and more. But the magic lies in how they’ve made it feel like one seamless vision. Not a parts catalogue car. A war machine. A weapon. A work of rolling art.

And yes, bits of VALKYRJA can be yours—door handles, window cranks, shift knobs and other Ringbrothers hardware are available to order. But don’t expect to capture its soul. That part lives somewhere between the carbon weave and the scream of a supercharger at full boost.
