Ringbrothers Unveils “patriarc” 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1

The 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 was already a muscle car icon, but in the hands of Ringbrothers it has become something far more ferocious. Dubbed “PATRIARC,” this reimagined classic is the result of over 5,000 painstaking hours of design, fabrication and finishing. Every inch of it has been touched, refined and redefined, blending modern supercar performance with an exterior that still speaks fluent late-’60s Americana.

Beneath the sculpted bodywork lies a Ford Performance Aluminator 5.2 XS V8, delivering a potent 580 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque. Power is channelled through a Bowler Tremec T-56 Magnum six-speed manual, married to a Centerforce clutch, before reaching a Strange Engineering 9-inch rear end. The soundtrack is pure Detroit muscle, enhanced by custom Ringbrothers headers and a Flowmaster system with Super 44 mufflers.

The chassis is a Roadster Shop FAST TRACK Stage III masterpiece, converted to unibody and paired with independent front and rear suspension. Penske Racing Shocks RS Edition coilovers keep it poised through corners, while Michelin Pilot Sport 4S rubber — 275/35R19 at the front and a massive 345/30R20 at the rear — provide unyielding grip. HRE G-Code Edition wheels and Baer Brakes 14-inch six-piston stoppers complete the performance equation.

Visually, the Mach 1 has been widened by two inches in every direction, its stance hunkered down with lowered rear quarters. The original steel has been enhanced with aerospace-grade carbon-fibre components, including the hood, rear diffuser and bespoke side scoops that direct air over the taillights. Even the taillights themselves are a custom acrylic 3D-printed creation. Billet aluminium and 3D-printed parts abound, from the rear bumper to the shifter, badging and seat backs, each machined to perfection.

Inside, Avant-Garde Interiors have crafted a fully bespoke cabin with a Vintage Air Gen IV Magnum climate system, Dakota Digital gauges, a Kenwood/JL Audio sound setup, and Ringbrothers’ own carbon-fibre hoop steering wheel. Every surface, stitch and finish reflects the same obsessive attention to detail that defines the exterior.

Co-owner Mike Ring describes PATRIARC as a showcase of the team’s craftsmanship and engineering, while Jim Ring calls it a blend of classic aggression and modern performance. It’s hard to disagree — this is not just a restomod, it’s a total reimagining of what the Mach 1 can be in the 21st century. Painted in BASF Glasurit Roscoe Blue and detailed to concours standards, PATRIARC stands as a testament to the art of building a car without compromise.

Moreover, Ringbrothers offers a host of products for the Mustang, including several billet-aluminium parts, steering wheels, side-marker lights and more.
